CTRL Reality proudly presents the Åppi mobile application developed in collaboration with the city of Turku!
The application takes the user on a journey along the historical Aura river through augmented reality. The historical stories and texts within the application are created by high school and university students from Turku. They have for example photographed the oldest fork in Finland, launched a medieval Hanseatic cog ship next to Suomen Joutsen and modeled an escaped prisoner near Föri.
Above all Åppi is an educational app meant for students of all ages but anyone can download it from the App Store or Google Play. So next time when you want to experience the Aura river from a historical perspective, download the app and have fun!
