Belgium is facing a bus driver shortage, and it’s only getting worse as young people show little interest in becoming bus drivers. To tackle this issue, CTRL Reality was tasked to come up with an XR application to attract young people to become chauffeurs.
The idea is simple: make the job feel fun and engaging. BECHAUFFEUR.BE Challenge puts players right in the driver’s shoes, showing them tasks that belong to a bus drivers daily routine. It’s not just about driving around; one also has to check the bus and take good care of it.
By turning these everyday tasks into a game, we hope to show other aspects of the industry, inspiring people to join this industry and help fill empty vacancies.
